American School
American School offers accredited courses in grades 6-12 at an affordable cost. Courses are available in online and paper-based formats and include core subject areas like English, math, science and social studies and elective courses in business, career and technical education, fine arts and world languages.
Students nationwide may enroll in full-year programs which lead to them earning American School’s accredited high school diploma, or they may enroll in individual subjects to enrich an existing homeschool program.
As of July 1, 2026, full years of American School’s middle school or high school program cost $1200 and consist of 5 units of credit. Individual courses to enrich an existing homeschool program typically cost between $275 and $525 per course depending on course length and course delivery method. The Good and the Beautiful
The Good and the Beautiful’s grades 3–8 science units are designed to be taught family style, and each of the lessons takes about 20–30 minutes to complete. The 19 unique unit studies can be studied in any order. By teaching science twice a week, most families complete three to five science units per year.
