Top Curriculum

First Year of Kindergarten Curriculum

The first year of homeschool “kindergarten” is an exciting one. Young children are so eager to learn, and it’s your first opportunity to build a multi – subject foundation for your child, covering the topics of reading, writing, math, science, and art.

Homeschool Complete’s Kindergarten Curriculum includes all these subjects, and more (social studies, fitness, character development and the Bible are also covered).

All the workbook pages are organized into one, sturdy, three-ring binder, and the pages are easy to remove. The pages are also durable to withstand daily use. I like everything about the notebook.

I also like my daughter’s response to the curriculum and its presentation. My daughter’s face lit up when we started this curriculum – and she loves her panda notebook – she really thinks she has the best lessons in the house.

Printing out specific worksheets is also an option.

I definitely like the flexibility of this curriculum, and as stated, it’s great when you have multiple children. Plus, I really appreciate when I find a curriculum that our family likes, and I can use it from year to year. Continuity is always a plus. And, you get A LOT for you money! All this for under $71.

I like the flexibility of the curriculum. You can can mix and match subjects or grade level worktexts to personalize your student’s homeschool curriculum content.

Times Tales: Learn the multiplication tables in an hour

Times Tales uses videos and games to help kids memorize their upper times tables. (I do need to point out that the purpose of Times Tales is to teach memorization of the times tables – children still need to understand the concept of multiplication).

I do recommend this product if your kids aren’t quite “getting it” when it comes to multiplication, It has certainly worked for my kids. And you can’t beat the price – it’s under $20!
