No-busywork, adaptable, affordable PDF curriculum from veteran homeschool moms – that’s what you’ll find from 7SistersHomeschool.com!

6 Veteran Homeschool Moms + YOU = 7Sisters!

The six of us homeschooled our kids all the way to high school graduation, and we can help you do it, too. We love coming alongside as your big sisters, helping you enjoy success in your homeschool.

There’s not ONE right way to homeschool, so our no-busywork curriculum is easy to adapt. Let us help you fit the curriculum to your family, instead of the other way around!

Homeschooling high school can feel intimidating, but these can be the best years yet! You can do it, and we are here to help. Our Elementary and Middle School collections are growing with no-busywork titles for younger students, and our bookstore already offers more than 100 PDF titles for homeschool high school. Explore High School Electives, All-in-One English Bundles for a year of high school learning, a la carte literature study guides or writing guides, Financial Literacy, Career Exploration, Physical Fitness, Speech, and more!

So, what are the things that are distinctive about PDF curriculum from 7Sisters?

The tone of each textliterature study guidewriting guide or elementary-aged activity guide is accessible and friendly. It is written in the conversational tone we used when we talked to our homeschool co-ops and group classes. We avoided the “formal tone” of textbooks because our teens told us they appreciated being talked to like they were personally respected in this learning process.

Have you ever noticed that many textbooks have the same number of pages for every chapter? It seemed to our teens that in making page numbers standardized, texts became filled with busywork or useless data. Teens want to know what is important enough to remember, but they are frustrated by busywork or redundant information.

Take, for example, our Literature Study Guides. They vary tremendously from guide to guide. Each has its own point of focus, the length of the books vary, and the style of questions and responsive writing prompts are crafted to fit a particular encounter with a particular book.

We concentrate on one or two important themes and only inferential (not redundant comprehension) questions. Teens actually need to learn the concepts that make each book matter. No worries about busywork and wasted time. So, The Invisible Man Literature Study Guide has more concept development and fewer questions. The Chronicles of Narnia Literature Study Guides need lots of meaty questions to get an adult-level thinking from children’s stories.

7Sisters curriculum contains real-life principles and skills. For example, Financial Literacy trains teens to manage their finances well throughout life. High School Health for the Whole Person lays the groundwork for healthy life-choices through old age. Even Philosophy in Four Questions trains teens to think and be aware of the ideas running the world. Our underlying intent in all our curriculum is to shape the hearts of soon-to-be adults.

All of 7SistersHomeschool curriculum is written by Christians. While we aim to be never-preachy, there is a worldview embedded in each text that should encourage teens’ hearts toward character development. But we don’t want to pound teens in the head with Scripture, lest they become irritated. They will encounter the worldview gently and respectfully in our materials. We want to help each teen fulfill the unique character goals that God holds for them.

7SistersHomeschool curriculum is adaptable to different levels of rigor based on the abilities, needs, interests and goals of each teen. Our materials are written in average or college prep levels for reading and interacting.

For teens who need high powered Honors credits, we include meaningful activities for them to add so their transcripts can record rigor. In this manner, all the teens in a family, co-op or group class could read the same Literature book or complete the same Elective textbook but at the best level of rigor for them.

All our curriculum is digital. Everything is a downloadable PDF, and much of it is editable so teens can do all of the work on their devices. Many of our teens tell us that saving the environment is important to them (so no paper in these books, no trucks delivering them) AND digital is fun. If they are taking their text to co-op class, the book can go with them on their phone or laptop.

Our copyright notice allows printing for teens who need that, too, however, because there’s not ONE right way to use 7SistersHomeschool.com’s materials.

10 day, no-questions-asked, money-back guarantee on all 7Sisters ebook curriculum. We respect the value of a homeschool dollar and never want you to waste money on curriculum that is not going to be a good fit for your family.

Our curriculum works for independent study AND is wonderful for co-ops and group classes, and we are pleased to offer a generous discount to co-ops who are using our titles.

The texts and guides are easily adaptable for groups. We have many suggested syllabi, and some texts offer additional teacher lesson plans beyond the regular “How to Use This Book” information included with every title.

Where did 7SistersHomeschool.com come from?

We six moms homeschooled alongside each other for decades, educating our own children at home as well as in co-ops and group classes at the umbrella school we formed. As we saw our youngest kids getting ready to graduate over 10 years ago, we decided to get serious about sharing what we have learned with younger homeschooling families.

That’s why when you visit 7SistersHomeschool.com, it might be hard to tell if we are bloggers or curriculum publishers. We want to be both, to share all the things we have learned in home educating our teens and helping hundreds of other homeschooling high schoolers graduate and move onto college, military, missions or career. You will find wonderful encouragement and advice in blogpost at 7SistersHomeschool.com and on the Homeschool Highschool Podcast.
